Joe has been practicing law in Tarboro,
North Carolina with the firm of Keel O'Malley, LLP now known as Keel O'Malley Tunstall, LLP
since September, 2000.
He is originally from
Washington, North Carolina where he attended
Washington High School and played football, basketball
and ran track for the Pam Pack. Growing up in
Washington, Joe had the advantage of skiing,
swimming, fishing and hunting along the Pamlico River.
Mr. Tunstall moved up the Tar River to Tarboro in
2000. Joe was married to Hilaria Pendergraft from Chatham County in June of 2006. Joe and Hilaria reside with four dogs in Tarboro. Chatham, the chocolate lab pictured above then a few weeks old is now over 90 lbs.
Mr. Tunstall enjoys hunting and fishing in the Pamlico/Tar River and Roanoke River areas.
